Steel Partners Holdings and Steel Sports, a social impact organization that helps youth through athletics, has rebranded a baseball facility in New York’s Long Island to Lasorda Legacy Park, in honor of former Dodgers Manager Tommy Lasorda.
The 30-acre facility, formerly Baseball Heaven, is in Yaphank, New York, and is home to Team Steel NY, the National Youth Baseball Championships and dozens of baseball and softball tournaments attended by more than 250,000 families per year, according to the facility’s operator, Steel Sports.
